Artist’s Prints Available on The Lost Landmarks

The Lost Landmarks website features merchandise collections that celebrate local history. From Meadowlark Airport to the Golden Bear, and now a Huntington Beach “Artist Showcase” where local artists can gain additional exposure and sell prints. Sherry Lawler Sparks and Rick Blake are the first two artists featured on this popular “surf city” inspired site where one can purchase framed prints of works that capture various historic Huntington Beach, CA scenes.

We want to find artists whose work encompasses local history and our first featured artists certainly can boast that. Sherry Lawler Sparks and Rick Blake Art have each built dedicated followings in part by capturing Huntington Beach history in compelling, unforgettable works of art. Dave C Reynolds (my partner at The Lost Landmarks) is also an artist/designer whose pieces celebrate local history in very creative ways. Besides offering local artist prints, The Lost Landmarks website has an ever-growing array of iconic merchandise from gone-but-not-forgotten HB businesses and other legendary locations. A portion of all proceeds goes toward the Educational History Project which helps fund historic material for local students.
